I have an early 83 van and recently on hot days when I have the blower on full blast it sometimes just stops working. Then a while later it works again.
Is this a heat issue and it is cutting off or something else I should be looking at? Unit itself was replaced a few years ago but not with OEM.
Blower cutting out for while then working again?

The motor itself won't cut in and out but a poor connection in the circuit could do it.

Randomly this gremlin came back today. I started her up and noticed I had no power to blower m, non to electric PAS or the volt meter at dash. Turned her off looked at fuses and all ok, tried again and started with all electrics again.
