After a few photos back and forth, this company found these for me. Hope it helps someone else who needs to tidy up frayed or damaged carb wiring:

Re: Worn out carb electrical joiners
Oooh, that's useful to know, you can buy just one with a £2.99 packaging cost so no silly minimum order size either.
I should find out how many I need

Re: Worn out carb electrical joiners
They were very helpful via email. Sent a pic of the ones used by VW and they pointed me at the closest match. Will certainly be replacing mine. The wires tend to get baked and break away at the ends. Granted I could use insulated male/female spades but not as good to look at and probably won't last as long

Re: Worn out carb electrical joiners
Thanks, these look good. I always use spade connectors (from Maplin before they disappeared ) but these look more durable.

Re: Worn out carb electrical joiners
In the end I ordered x10 of these (£3.39): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Way-Pin-Ca ... m570.l1313" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Perfect replacement 3 week wait but thats OK. They latch nicely. Good excuse to replace all the carb wires with fresh stuff. Mine are getting brittle now.

Re: Worn out carb electrical joiners
Sounds like a sensible upgrade, mine are looking a bit worse for wear after over 30 years in the engine bay, thanks for the info.
