Coil Check

Post by Merrsh1 »

Evening All

I bought this coil : https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volk ... 13110037&1

From Eurocarparts and used their vehicle selector thingy and it confirmed it would fit. Its arrived and I want to fit it but it doesn't match the serial number for the coil soid by JK or Brickwerks....

Will it be Ok to fit?

E D I T : Bugger. Just checked and its for the CV fuel injected engine.

That's the uprated blue coil for points ignition. If you have the original electronic ignition you will get better performance with the correct coil.

Cheers. Lesson learned for future... Good job I ordered online, 365 days to return it.
