Which screws for relay

Got my hard start relay hoping to make the ignition switches last a bit longer. Been wandering up and down B&Q looking for self tapping screw to attach relay but nothing looked right. What type size would I need? thanks..

I can pop you a couple in the post if you want. Unless you're in a hurry. They have a flat head but don't know the size. Perfect for relays though.

These are easy - self-drilling. Just bang them in with a low speed drill.

I mount them here, there is usually enough length to pull the red/black cable from the starter through to the relay. If you have a late van check you don't drill/screw into the coolant hoses behind.

Thanks for the tip-hadn't thought of mounting it there. Reminded me that I need to change that hose as it leaks a bit at LHS end. I've just bought some of those screws recommended by OBG from screwfix (16mm) so I won't need you to post any, Rob.

Hard start relay fitted, time will tell whether is helps with ignition switch problems. Those self drilling screws are a godsend.

I wondered what that relay was for - stumbled upon it while looking for something else described with with three or four letter acronym which is purported to reside behind the rear light cluster. Can a more knowledgeable forum member elucidate on both counts as I am suffering from Bentley induced info overload? :?
