Weak Charge from Alternator

Post by chris7ian »

It appears I'm only getting 13.2V charge at the battery in my bus (1989 2.1 MV auto)... I'm about to replace the voltage regulator but where else should I check?
I'd already changed the voltage regulator about 6months ago but it didn't really make much of a difference - I'm hoping it was a duff or inferior quality item (can't remember where I bought it)

Thanks

Check the wire that goes from the starter to the alternator, make sure the main connections to the alternator are clean and engine earths
