Hazard Warning lights not working

Post by Jonnyb416 »

Hi All, can anyone suggest what I check next please?

I’ve changed the switch.

Checked the fuse. (I think, none of the metal strips are actually broken)

Indicators work as normal.

1982 diesel with an old style fuse box.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers, Jon.

Found the issue. It was a fuse. They look ok but 1 was actually worn away.

Ordered a load off eBay.

Thanks everyone.

Lol - just answered that in another thread. Bullet fuses can get fractures or damage without it being at all obvious unless removed and inspected carefully.

Well I plane to clean up all the terminals and replace all the fuses. Think I’ve been very lucky this is the first fuse to go in nearly 8 years of ownership. They are sort of tarnished around the ends; kinda green.
