I don't drive at night much but I recently noticed I found it hard to use the heater controls at night in the tin top, then in the pop tonight I noticed them illuminated, is that standard and a bulb gone or is is down to the model, also missing are the warning light legends.
thanks

Re: Dash lights
Heater controls are illuminated with a small bulb that can be replaced. If you search for threads hat cover replacing the heater blower switch you will see how to remove the heater knobs and panel.
Looks like the bulb that illuminates the legends needs renewing. Simple to do with dash cover removed.

Re: Dash lights
and might be better to swap it for a high brightness LED, that way you shouldn't have to mess with it ever again.

On mine, I ran a new line just for dash lights and blower control illumination and they all come on as soon as ignition does regardless of headlights. Works great when you go under tunnels or dark trees etc - and then I'm reminded why I did it.

Re: Dash lights
The vans 150 miles away right now, so can I ask if the heater panel light is a 3 or 5mm ? There's a little bulb holder for the filament bulb isn't there..

Re: Dash lights
3mm or 5mm would be fine. Dab of hot glue will keep it in place. Either buy a 12v specific LED or any LED and a 390 0hm resistor in series.
