reversing sensors
Has anyone fitted revering sensors to their camper?
As mine is very old 1980 I have to switch a switch on the dash to put the revering lights on but I would like sensors fitted so I can reverse safely at times when its difficult to see.

Re: reversing sensors
Yes, I fitted a cheap set.
I had to extend the wiring loom because the bus is longer than normal car.
I used a feed from the reversing light as a feed for the power.

Re: reversing sensors
I fitted a pair, magnetic bases and placed either side of the rear lights. Wired to the reversing light, simple to install and cheap too!

Re: reversing sensors
It still should have had a reversing light switch on the gearbox.Stovies wrote:Has anyone fitted revering sensors to their camper?

Re: reversing sensors
I've got a great reversing sensor - the crunch-tinkle one. If I hear that, I know I've misjudged it but if you drive off fast enough, nobody is any the wiser

"Very old 1980"? Jeez, even Bay windows had reverse lights! No T25/T3 ever came without reverse ligths as standard (bar perhaps the german post vehicles)

Re: reversing sensors
I have the original 4 speed box but I don't see it at all!
Is it on the driver side or passenger side.
