Buzzer of doom

I've removed the black box from the engine as I have to move it to a more suitable place but in side was this

Is this the buzzer of doom and what should it be connected too as it wasn't before.

If you are referring to the oil pressure warning system fitted on post 86 vans then that is not it. The buzzer of doom is in the speedo housing not the engine bay. The only way you will find what your black box is meant to do would be to trace the wires. It may be a DIY oil pressure circuit but that s pure guesswork without knowing what controls the alarm and what it is connected to.

Ah right well it was never connected and makes a nee naw sound when I tested it. So I could use it for something else
