recently purchased 86 t25 high top of ebay , got it delivered , but on inspection only got one back side light working,,, fuses seem fine ,,any expert ideas please .. on earths relay fuses etc please help .

Evening, don't take this the wrong way but have you checked the bulb?

looked and got lots of bulbs from previous one , no, no plate lights, no side light, but one back one, no headordims but flasher flashes heads , 11 months mot ,, hmmm , ?

oh sorry, just re read your original post. So no lights apart from one rear and main beam (any brake lights ? ). I'm sure someone who knows about electrics and multi-meters will be along soon to help you out.

yes i have brake lights ,,,,,,, no number plate light , only one back side ,, no front heads or side lights ,, indicators ok brake lights ok wipers ok , any ideas anybody ,,,

When the van arrived and you contacted the person who sold you the van, what did they say about the problem with the lights?

van was trailored here ,, seller said lights were working for mot in sept , not used since ,, not helpful ,,

Give that earth crown and spades a good cleaning..

ive given earth ago its very tight and looks ok ,,, will give crowns ago sun ,, checked other back tail bulb and number plate bulbs they are fine ,, will check side front bulbs ,sun,,, dont think bulbs is prob ,replaced fuses connected to all lights , funny just one back light ,,coming on ,, well its not funny at all ,ps ,theres a electric item that was in glove box wondered if that was of anything in my download ? above

Worth checking all the plugs at the back of the fusebox are properly seated.
Also the connections on the back of the light switch.
Failing that, it could be your light switch that's faulty as all head nad tail lights except main beam flash go through it.

Check that the parking lights work on both left and right hand side. If they do then I would suspect that the light switch is faulty. If they don’t then check earths. The fact that you have only one rear side light working would suggest multiple faults.

parking light only one on one side , checked bulbs no number plate lights checked bulbs ,, cleaned earth in engine bay ,,looking at ,, my light switch only as two wires conected to it is that all it should have ?

just been in touch with seller because newly purchased t3 has got long mot , he said he payed the garage to fixfront right headlight , they might not have connected it properly ,,,,,, great ,,,, and what does anyone on here think why that would affect the rest of the lights from , working i wonder ,, ?/ anyway no help from last owner ,will take grill off and take a look at headlights sunday ,,,,,, but grill doesn look as though its been off for ages to me ,,plus both headlights work on the flasher ,,
