No, the fan motor was ok just in the same circuit as the lights, I was trying to find out what else was affected when I had the same problem as the OP & noticed the fan would not come on.bigbadbob76 wrote:Your heater fan failing could have started the whole chain of events.
My fan motor seized solid, drew a lot of current and overheated the fuse holder for it.
If yours has done the same, it could have caused the ignition switch to burn out.
I'd avoid turning the fan on until you've investigated further as it may do more damage.
