Trip counter not working

Post by RobH »

Hi, got a bit of an odd one, wondering if anyone has had and resolved this.
Trip counter when reset counts up to 20 miles happily but then only the tenths keeps moving and the 20 stays fixed, does the same when reset, speedo and odometer working correctly.

Will need to come out - chances are its a loose or damaged cog. Probably the former. Each cog has a lug on the side that nudges the next one.
