Dip/side on when indicating

Post by Sir Brixalot »

Looking at a reflection of the front end of my van at a junction. I noticed that when I indicate, the dip/side light is illuminated on the same side as the indicator both when turning left and right Is this an 80s safety feature or dodgy electrics again?

Sounds like the parking light circuit is live when the ignition is on, try disconnecting the grey wire from the ignition switch (p terminal).

Thanks. I had meant to do that as I don't need the parking light
