wiring for split charge lucas SRB630 relay

Post by chriscburgess »

Hi, I have a split charge relay under my drivers seat for the leisure battery and fridge. It is a Lucas SRB630. It has 5 connections labelled C1, C2, C3, W1 and W2.

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wirin ... UzggrLw4M:

When I took the battery out 3 of the leads fell off the relay and I am now not sure which connections to put them back

The two wires that remained on are both red thicker wires and are on C1 and C2 and I suspect are the connections to the main battery and leisure battery.

I then have a blue wire, a brown wire and two wires on one connector (one black and one brown)

Now what I am unsure about is which of these wires go on which of the remaining free terminals C3,W1,W2?

Can anyone help please?

W1 and W2 are the relay windings, W1 normally connects to an ignition switched circuit, W2 to earth.
C1 input from starter battery, C2 and C3 are twin outputs one to the leisure battery the other to the fridge.

Thanks! Don't suppose the colours of my wires give a clue to which is which? I'm not sure how to trace them.
