Hazard lights at 50%!

Post by bootie3367 »

Had a search in the tech archives and on wiki but nothing like my problem.
Indicators function 100% however the hazards only work the passenger side front and rear.
Hazard warning switch flashing as it should but the green light on the dash is not working!
I know relay is good because of the indicators so where should I start, hazard switch or green lamp in console?

Possible bad earth somewhere? Common fault with weird electrical faults. Check the earth crown behind the dash & give it a good clean.

Sounds like switch to me, maybe just bad connection on switch.

I just thought I'd follow this up as had the same problem. Turned out to be the switch was dirty. Removed the switch and carefully opened it up, the connections were very greasy, so cleaned them and now everything is good.
