So I decided to wire my stereo to the leisure battery but wanted it powered when the isolator was off and I'm driving or with the ignition off when chilling.
No problem I thought, the red wire goes to the leisure battery before the isolator via it's own 5A fuse and the yellow wire can go to either main or leisure battery to maintain the memory.
Not so on my Sony stereo,
The yellow wire actually takes the current and the red wire just enables the stereo if you wire it to the ignition switch.
I only found this out when I was checking what current my camper stuff was drawing.
So I have to wire yellow to the leisure battery and red can go to either.
Anyone else come across this? seems weird to me but I guess it reduces the current through the ignition switch if you wire it in the normal way in a normal car.

googling it shows up this which proves it, 10A fuse in the yellow and 1A in the red.
