Seems to be a glaring omission in the electrical section :?:

In most cases they're going to be same size as leisure I suppose. Depends where the battery is :D

I only ask because there was a recent enquiry (guess the OP hadnt gone to the wiki, so I did) only to find any amount of electrical info, bar anything about that most essential of items:

The battery itself!

After all there are only two basic types: Petrol under seat* or diesel in the engine bay

*175mm tall for Caravelles with battery covers, of course.

Well I've put loads of stuff on there about behind the seat battery box sizes with lid shut. Unless someone's been on there and deleted it?

From memory:
310mm wide
175mm deep
185mm high... although car batteries generally fall in to two heights; low profile at 175mm or standard height at 190mm (it is essential to go with the 175mm LP size if you want the battery box lid to shut)

UK Type 100 Tends to be a good choice, the correct terminal orientation, high capacity and good cold cranking amps in a low profile (175mm) package.
Just be aware that some sellers quote Type 096/100 in the same breath when 096 batteries are generally the taller 190mm size that you do not want.
