So I've come across a problem. My lights don't have the adjuster ring and instead they screw directly onto the mounting brackets using the loops welded onto the reflector. So therefore I have no way of fixing these lenses to the frame and still allowing myself to adjust the direction once installed.

Am I the only one with this issue? I saw one person managed to cable tie them in, but the reflectors I bought from powerful-uk are just tabs, so nowhere to look the tie through. Plus I'd have no way to adjust them once fixed in.

Anyone got any solutions?

I considered making my own adjuster ring for the lens to sit into? (Obviously not out of cardboard. I have some dural I was going to cut). But I'd quite happily settle on a less time consuming option!

If not, yours may be another variant from the norm. Can be sorted I'm sure.

Just seemed the easier option at the time to get the headlight out to look at it. They easily go back in. The lugs on the side are all connected to a ring which in itself seems to be welded to the back of the lens and then painted over, which makes me feel that it was like that from its initial purchase:

If its nothing like the headlight below, I think I'd pick up a S/H pair that are. (£20 ish?). Your units look similar to the way square units are built.

I do have a pair of stainless adapters (similar to your cardboard ones) that powerful-uk developed. I'm beginning to wonder if they made those based on your type as they didn't work on mine.

I'd be interested in those adaptors if you're not needing them? Might have a go a making one this afternoon. I should add, it's only the drivers side like this. The passenger has the old sealed unit and does have the adjuster ring! Anyways, let me know if you're interested in selling or can point me in the right direction for them

Just find a match for one that does have the adjusting ring - it'll be a lot less faff.

Nice and bright! Just need to align them now and I'm all set for the MOT on tues!

Ingenious. Must take a pic of adapter plates I have and compare.

Well done. What clips did you use?

Used some hose type clips cut down. Though they would be too flexible but they're actually pretty strong when bent into a tight radius. Lights going nowhere!

Mine are like this. Couldn't quite figure them out though. The idea was to only keep the headlight frame and fit a complete lucas pod.
