Chill out mate. The smiley at the end of the post suggests that it was posted with humour in mind. It's traditional to post a quick blurb of who you are, where you come from. What van you have (pics are great too).

This place is a great for help and info. There's a lot of humour and mickey taking, do try to take it in good spirit, be polite and friendly and you'll receive as much of the above as you can carry.

Just to reply to the original question - needle wobble - it is worth a quick check that the speedo cable is pushed in properly at the back of the dial (simple job). Replacing the cable completely is also quite simple (and cheap) if it comes to that.

Make sure the wheel end of the speedo cable has the c clip on it.it Sticks out of the centre of passenger wheel. The hole should be square.

RIGHT! HERE'S MY ANSWER........!

...mine used to do just this. As above, checked the front passenger wheel attachment, then I disconnected from binnacle (I think that's the word) end in cab and propped up end of cable virtically. I fashioned a sort of funnel on the cable end using tape, then regularly dripped 3 in 1 oil (any light oil should be ok) down the 'ole! Left it overnight before reconnecting. Did that ten years ago, not had a problem since :ok

Good luck..
