Propex Heater Control unit

Post by JonathanR »

I need to remove my heater control. But can’t work out how. It looks as though the dial has to be removed first but it does not pull off. Can’t see any screws holding the cover in place. The cover is loose on the left but firmly in place on the right.

As above ^^^^^ prise the dial off - don't do it from just one side use 2 prisers otherwise the shaft can fracture. One or two screws underneath.

Perfect. I’m prone to breaking things so was too cautious and using 2 screw drivers worked well.

I was hoping to find a hole behind so I could feed some wire through. But alas no large hole. So back to square one.

Am fitting some mini LED’s along the underside of the boxed in section. Can’t get access to this far corner.
