i would have prefered a proper RR bed to tell you the truth. Its just a Ply base with a hinged back , not very secure. i still have some work to do on that, Seat belts are just for the dog harnesses to stop em wandering round in the back, they also know now that once they are clipped in , they are off for a drive and settle down straight away :ok

Daz mate after seeing those last pics I think the name "Jambo" should be changed to "Jumba"

ps:- the word Jumba means Palace in Swahili.

Great pics indeed. Stand proud Rafiki, a job well done.

Thanks. I loved every minute of it :? Even when I nearly lost my fingers to the angle grinder and then almost my other hand putting out a fire , oh yeah and the welding sparks in my ears and the burnt trousers and legs. Eeeeeee wot fun we had :rofl
Thanks guys, makes it all worth while to hear that.
Just got her booked in ( will be the first job I've paid for  ) for an extra lpg tank to be fitted , so should have a 350 mile range on the cheap stuff. Then I can fit the goodies I got from dubfreeze :ok

After getting the extra tank fitted by Andy at Campershack ( He's a good lad ) im getting around 375 to 390 from one filling , usually 100 litres , that's max from one filling . Makes life so much more bearable on lpg.
Next job is the spare wheel carrier for the back. Been holding off on this as it requires some messing around.

Just read through this, nice job you did there Dazco! I like the layout inside. Is the bed R'n'R or does a piece drop in?

You have to lift the 2 small square seats out then the seat base and back fold flat to form the bed base , very simple.

Sounds complex and rubbish you should sell it, or bin it. I'll tell you what I'll take it out your way for you! :)

I'd like a similar layout in my van, a full width bed would suit my more erm... padded build. Haha.
