3 point seatbelts in the middle row?

Thin bits of metal and bright blue light. Including glass & trim.

3 point seatbelts in the middle row?

Is it possible? I seem to remember reading that it was an option, but struggling to see how you fix them. My bus has a fixing point high in the C pillar for the shoulder strap but the only location I can see to attach the inertia reel is at the base of the C pillar where the rear bench base bolts to which would cause an obstruction.

Can anyone help? Pictures especially useful!

My middle row in the caravelle bolt to the C post and the metal seat frame - there are some pretty meaty bolts on the standard VW frame that they fit to just fine. They seem to be made for the purpose.

Middle seat of the middle row is more of a challenge! I have ended up with the eldest child in a four point racing harness which fits neatly.

you need a T piece or flat bar which has no independent number. Below 4A on this pic:
