Damage free removal of sliding door card?

Post by Blakefruid »

Evening all,
Is there a magic technique or tool for removing the panel clips from sliding door with out causing any damage to the card?
Is it best to drill them out?
Thanks

Hi, are those the kind of bent/shaped bits of bits of plastic with notches? I've tried a couple of them and the trim clips won't budge-- I'll keep trying. Thanks.

the metal ones are better, the pliers type are the best
But I just use a big flat screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape
