Somewhat spensivo, I've been looking for cheaper options for this and gutter strip and haven't come up with anything. Any ideas? Doesn't have to be exact but needs to look 'right'.

Nothing will substitute the original strip. You could try something like this I suppose.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-mini ... XQfFJRTiMl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; But the bend at the bottom of the original will be hard to replicate.

Years ago I put some of this type of thing on instead. Very cheap and it looks totally fine or even better than the cheap looking thin facia (in my opinion)..

It solved it for me and have never thought twice to get the real thing. Better things to spend van money on!

I have to ask, why bother with the 'A' post or gutter trim?

I believe it’s a wind noise reduction that wasn’t fitted to early buses to cut down on wind whistle
