The course grit that come with the Aldi blaster is ok, I have the remains of a sack that I bought 35 years back, I will dig it out and see if there is any readable info on it, but sorry that won't be for a couple of days. It is black, courser and more effective than the new stuff.

Call a pro and ask them to sell you a bag, much cheaper than having 1 delivered. The last thing you want is too use too coarse a media as it will heat up the area excessively.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Has anyone bought one of the Proxxon Sanders and if they have is it any good. I was looking at getting one but the cost of the adaptor was nearly £40.

I have several different sanders for all eventualities because of my line of work, however, I nought an electric finger sander just to use on the van and it's been invaluable. Bought loads of different grit belts of Amazon and not looked back.

Yes thanks for that but i have one of those already. I think I need to get a bit more practice with it as when i used it last I felt that i was being a bit too heavy handed with it. I like a bit more of a cushioned feeling if that makes sense. I will give it another go.

Proxxon have a good reputation in Germany. German quality.
I've not bought a sander but I have a spanner set and a couple of socket sets from Proxxon.
