Sliding Door Lock Barrel

Post by Oilline »

Can anybody tell me how to remove the lock barrel from a late sliding door handle? Thanks

there's a grub screw in the side you need to remove this, it is often seized and easily stripped, you need to have a key in to then pull the barrel out, and be aware there's a spring in the bottom inside which tends to pop out when you pull the barrel and there's a seal which is clear silicon around the barrel
