Brickwerks Mud Flaps

Post by drumsofdoom »

Hi everybody,

have any of you fitted these?

https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/mud-flap-kit-t3-rear.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/ ... front.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

there's no instructions included, it doesn't seem obvious (to me at least) how these attach at all. Does anybody have a picture of one attached? That would be really helpful. Or any advice at all really.

Thanks in advance

Replying to my own thread, I found this thread with pictures which was very useful. I can see how it all goes together now.

Not looking forward to drilling into the body though!

Thanks, the more info the better!

The Go Westy ones are a little different I think, the brackets are different and those flaps look like they go directly on the wheel arch, whereas the BW ones and a couple other rubber ones from other places seem to attach to the body a little bit back from the wheelarch itself. At least that what it looks like to me.

Here's a pic of somebody's with the brackets attached so people can see how they go together prior to attaching them to the van

I bought a set from campervan culture a couple of weeks ago. When they arrived I found there was a few brackets for the rears and it wasn't obvious how they fitted. I asked about fitting instructions but they didn't have any but fair play to Jed as he phoned me to talk through the job. I had also found a picture online in the meantime. I'm going to fit mine this weekend, I was just waiting for the expanding nuts that fit into the body as I had to order these from Brickwerks as they don't come as part of the kit.
