Hi has anyone attempted repairing the cut outs where the windows are let in? i.e the rust that grows each time a look at the bottom of the glass under the rubbers in the usual places ( rear door, sliding door rear sides) wondering how hard this is going to be to weld up before attempting
Maybe others out there have got some handy tricks or hints?
Maybe it’s just going to be bloody difficult!

Need to get it fixed
water going in will rot your van inside pretty quickly.

Are they cut in conversion windows or oem caravelle windows?

If your bus is not a van conversion, these panels might come in handy:

Those are Ok but the radii on the folds looks a bit big

I have some of these waiting to be fitted and if it helps any, measurements are (from bottom section up) 1.5", 3/4" and 1/2"

Sorry for late reply
Notifications are going to my junk mail for some reason.
Yes mine is most definitely a panel van conversion. I have already done some internal welding repairs. It’s in a barn in the winter but want to get it out again for April so will subjected to lots of rain.

Definitely need to get it sorted. Really not looking forward to doing it though
