Seat hinge cover (no idea really) needed.

OK I have no idea what to call it but have had a long search on Brickwerks and cannot find it. It fits over the bit on the seats where they hinge. I have put a photo of what it looks like next to the one I am missing.
Any pointers and I would be grateful.

Going to answer my own question, trawled through lots of Google images till I found one.
It is a Front Seat Joint Cover, nlavw sell them if anyone else is missing one.

Took mine off because they keep falling off which is why so many are missing, looks fine without one.

True but I was buying a few odds and ends like bolt covers etc and thought why not.

Because it will fall off again but your choice.

The hinge covers are available again as a reproduction part , left and right differ in design and they don't just fall off unless they are damaged, sometimes by the way they are removed.

Try Serial Kombi .REF 221881477 for the left side . Fits well .They also do a right one although we did not need one

Hi

I have the same problem (along with lots of other elderly fragile plastic bits that have fallen off our Vanagon). There are usually most of these bits on the samba website- some sellers will post to the UK
