Rust starting bottom of door, seals the problem?

Post by Swebby »

Hi all,

Just been doing some surface rust repair to the driver side step and noticed that the problem looks to have started due to water from the door. As you will see on the photo, the bottom of the door has started to rust and this seems to be because there is a lot of water held between the seal and the door.
Has anyone experienced this? I guess the answer is a new seal. Are they easy to put on?

Cheers for any thoughts

Yes you should probably check your window seals, the lower outer panel is fairly easy to weld in if you need to.
