High top heat

Post by 100leelee »

Hi
Have my leisuredrive high top off the van at the moment
Is on the back garden covered with a tarp.
Been smelling some plastic burning small during the recent hot weather and just dismissed them.
Seems my high top is burning under the tarp!!
Has anyone else had this?
Will it be ok??
It looks ok..?

I'm assuming the tarp is resting on the high top, in which case all the heat it absorbs from the sun is being transferred directly to the high top. I would suggest you raise the tarp up so that there's an air gap underneath to allow any heat to dissipate.
