Sliding window channel seal

Post by ash1293 »

Just popped out the sliding window in our leisuredrive to replace outer seal. Once out I was giving the channels a good clean etc only to find most if not all of the seals have disintergrated.
The fixed side sould be relatively easy to reseal with some polyurethane however the sliding section sits within a woven nylon? type channel.

I'm strugging to find a suitable replacement as the channel width is only 8-9mm max and the smallest I've found so far is 10mm flocked window channel rubber.

If anyone has any ideas I woudl be extremely grateful.
