roof lining
Hi Been reading on wiki about roof lining, i wish to line the roof of my tin top, does anyone know where i might get the rods that fit side to side. If not available could i use wooden or plastic doweling. apparently they need to be 20mm diameter. Has anyone here actually done one. All info gladly received. Tony

Re: roof lining
The rods are available in most of the online suppliers in Germany so they should be available in the UK.
Werk34.de have them and will send them to th UK - they are listed as Himmelstange or Headliner bows.
You could probably make your own out of 4mm dia steel rod but you would have to experiment with the bends.
We've just made a new roof liner for ours out of general purpose liner.
