So one of the final jobs before paint was to remove the screen and repair the bottom corners.. however... has anyone had this..? Looks like I need a new dash!!!

Started cutting out..
Not as bad as I first thought, will fabricate a repair.. already bought new seal rim ..

Oh and also be careful taking the screen out, even after cutting the rubbers, the smallest amount of pressure cracked the screen..

This might help you. I used the JK repair profile and welding a patch onto it from the back, going over it a few times to build up thickness. Like this:

Then I could grind the profile in without grinding all the weld off and putting holes back in:
