Rear Tailgate seal channel

Post by 100leelee »

Am replacing the seal channel in its entirety.
Lower replaced already.
Have a question, can anyone measure the distance from the upper edge of the seal channel to the edge of the roof.
I know it’s pretty vague, and the rubber seal will cover most errors, just want it to be something like.
The first time I forgot to take measurements..!
Mind you, as usual, underestimated the amount of rot to cut out..!!
Thanks

That’s with the end of the rule in the deepest part of the channel.
i.e. just on the other side of this angle

Looks like it’s shallower at the ends, a wee bit anyway
