three point rear seat belt
I would like to fit two rear 3 point belts I have a cupboard one side would need them both to come from one side if possible. I have already fitted the brickwerks kit on the side without the cupboard.
I think I could fit a belt like Securon 514/30
but ideally it would have two tongues and buckles on webbing rather than an end bracket- then I could mount one buckle on webbing to this plate I already have installed and have the buckle of the existing rear seat belt using: https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/seat-belt- ... loor.html#
This post http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... t#p8212302 what I want to achieve but I am just not sure where to get the belt with two tongue on from and what mounting plate to use for the retractor that will be mounted near the rear air vent. I used the brickwerks mount for for the seat belt I already have fitted. https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/b ... upper.html

Retractor mounted with a single bolt, with a reinforcement plate (square plate with a nut welded to it) behind the panel, belt from Arrgghh, can’t remember! Search my posts for recommendations.

Re: three point rear seat belt
In our Westy we have a BW kit for the one nearest the sliding door. The other 3-point belt furthest from the sliding door comes from the same side as per the image below. We've found this layout works fine for us. This second belt has two tongues and buckles and was fitted by Seatbelt Service, with the retractor reel fitted about half way up the rear pillar through a pillar loop above.

Re: three point rear seat belt
I have been in touch with Safety belt services and they said it was best to have a rectractor mounted and then above that the guide as shown in the picture above. Roger I was just wondering if you have a guide or not.I guess if I have a guide I would need two mounting plates.RogerT wrote:Retractor mounted with a single bolt, with a reinforcement plate (square plate with a nut welded to it) behind the panel, belt from Arrgghh, can’t remember! Yes, sorry I should have said I do have a guide above the reel, so two reinforcement plates.
