Does anyone know what the product is called that bonds the inner frame/ carcass to the panels? Or a suitable substitute they can recommend?

I asked panel man at Rusty Kampers in Thanet fitting new bits to my van the same question..Any silicone adhesive will do is his answer.

Cheers folks
In the end I went with that tigerseal. Appears to remain very flexible when cured, but then again is only days old so still might need curing longer.

Are you sure that he said silicone? Polyurethane is the stuff, Tigerseal, Soudaflex, Sikaflex etc.

There are structural and non structural adhesives.
Structurals are two component resin based and non structurals are one component polyurethane based. And there are the seam sealers which are non structural polyurethane adhesives with more flexibility.
You need the non structural adhesive ones for the parts that were glued originally.

E D I T: household silicone sealants will eat through metal due the acid content. So not suitable for automotive use.
