I want to replace the nearside and offside sliding windows. The channels have deteriorated and seals need replacing.

Any idea of a supplier ?

I looked at servicing mine sometime ago, have not got round to it yet, but the frame, 2 halves, inner and outer are aluminijm so should be ok.

First link you supplied look as though they could make bespoke ones.

Having had close inspection of mine, inner and outer aluminium halves are fine, it is the plastic divider that has deteriorated on both windows. The metal halves are joined with a series of pins which go through the plastic divider. I think I would need to grind the head off the pin, drive the pin out to release the plastic divider. I could probably get in and clear out, refurbish the channels and manufacture a new divider. Not sure how I would replace the pins.

Divider...do you mean the strip that runs along the bottom of the window?
Ally frame...2 piece glued and screwed in place. The screws are behind the rubber infill strip on the outside extrusion, probably with rusted heads.

The broken plastic dividers can be seen in N/S and O/S windows.

I didn't fancy pulling out the infill strip to search for screws, but at an area where there was some infill strip missing, I could see what looked like the heads the pins.

Just come up from the workshop for my afternoon cuppa so hence the quick reply.
Replaced my divider with a thin piece of oak. Cut it to the correct thickness, shaped it using the old one, soaked it in linseed oil and it just sits in position. I will fill the pin holes up one day. I can remove it any time for cleaning and it's been in there for about 3yrs now. I would have used plastic but had not got any around but usually have plenty of timber.

Do the inner and outer halves of the frame stay in place if the pins are driven out.

I like the idea of a removal centre piece. Neat. Any spare Oak ??

Assuming it is the same as mine the pins are only there for that divider. They are only at the bottom??????
The window frame halves are held in place, and together, by the screws under the infill strip on the outside.
