Bodyshop (re-spray) Recommendations (Cheshire/Telford/ Notts

Post by davesm »

Happy New Year to one and all.

Can anyone recommend a company who can re-spray a 1990 Westy California hi-top either in the Cheshire/Telford/Midlands area or Nottingham area? The van is currently with Jim Painter (Nantwich) who has nearly finished the bodywork and the van will soon be ready for collection. As it has no engine at the moment (waiting for a TDi conversion) I'm reliant on a family member to transport it around these locations as that is most convenient. As I am not local to these areas (and there is nothing available to me in Mid-Wales that I am aware of) I will be relying on recommendations from you good folks.

Thanks a lot.

Jim used to but not anymore. In fact as far as I am aware he is moving away from T25s to concentrate on other things. He told me that my van would be the last he would work on -in fairness it is quite a lot of work!

Am sorted now as the van will be going to Mario to do the TDi conversion and he will arrange for it to be painted too.

Hoopefully by summer it will be on the road - first time in 4 years of ownership that I can actually drive her!
