Hi All
Hope all of you had a good Xmas, and a good break.
Am after a bit of info please
I have a 1984 petrol water cooled, VW Holdsworth conversion "Villa 3", Pop Top
I want to fit 2 rear seat belts, as my son wants to use van for holidays, and now has a baby of 9 months old. I think I can only fit 1 lap belt and 1 shoulder belt, but am happy to be advised otherwise. I have looked in the Wiki, and read up various details etc. As the van has been converted from new, I was let to believe that the seat belt fixings would be in place.
However I am not sure if this is the case or not.
Has anyone got a similar van and gone through this exercise, and could confirm if the fixings are there or not, as it is not obvious when looking.
Also If you had these fitted how much would a reasonable cost be for this please.
Many Thanks to anyone who replies with details etc, and also a thank you to all the people who run this site, behind the scenes who do a fantastic job which is the best in miles for related T25 queries/Info.
Regards
LLoyd

Re: Seat Belt Fixings
I don't think it will have the mountings because it started life as a panel van that Holdsworth converted.
You can buy thd mountings from Brickwerks read the blurb

Re: Seat Belt Fixings
If you didn't want to do it yourself, this company will come to you & fit them
http://seatbeltservice.co.uk/camper-van-seat-belts/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ours is based on a panel van and they fitted 2x 3-point belts, including the strengthening plates etc. I think we paid over £400.00 because of the distance involved but you're probably a bit closer to London than us.
There's also these people

http://www.safetybeltservices.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Not sure if the 2nd one there do fitting or just make them
