I've just been doing some research and I came across PorPatch. I haven't used and of the Por15 products yet but I believe it will become my Black Hammerite Replacement as I live in Cumbria which is famed for it dampness. This PorPatch however peaked my interest as it claimed to prevent rust as well which I believe all our seams could benefit from.
This is what the manufacturer promises:
POR PATCH™ is, quite literally, POR-15 in a tube, and like POR-15® it dries as hard as a rock, remains flexible, and once dry is totally impervious to fuels and solvents. Use it to fill small rust holes and gaps that you wouldn't try to fill with stiffer body fillers and putties. The consistency is much more manageable, like a residential caulking. Squeeze and spread. Easy!
I thought it was worth further investigation as a temporary hole filler as well.
Here is a link to it on GoWesty's website, the second picture was the trigger for my interest.

Has anyone used it? Or does anyone have any light to sine on it?

hehe , dries hard as a rock yet remains flexible,
we dont want to cover the seams and seal them , the corrosion is in there already and nothing short of cutting / removal will change that, it will have its uses but not i fear for what you have in mind

Re: PorPatch from Por15 instead of Tiger Seal
I was thinking about after cutting out the rust / replacing panels. Like you know after we remove the rust and then we run a bead of tiger seal along the seam before painting, I wondered if this PorPatch stuff would be better due to its enhanced rust prevention qualities?

indeed, i would sooner maybe use
https://www.bilthamber.com/hydrate-80" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and then something like
http://www.halfords.com/motoring/paints ... -stripe-1l" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
mask either side and brush on,
