floor fixing

I recently removed my units and bed to have some much needed welding doing.
I found the 9mm timber sheet had been "nailed" to the cab floor??
When the van returns I intend to insulate all round and lay a new sheet of ply. I want to keep the holes in the cab floor to a minimum, so can I fix the board using a "Gripfill" type bonding agent?
Or are nuts and bolts the only way forward?

Answers on a postcard please.....

Hi, held mine down with a few blobs of neutral curing silicone, the type used on double glazing, no acid to attack anything.

You could re-use the nail holes. When I did mine, I screwed it to the floor with a few stainless self-tappers. I located the original holes, then re-used them by drilling pilot holes through from under the van, then i just countersunk the ply and screwed it down.
