Hi all
Can anybody point me in the right direction, I have a 1981 Devon and want to take out the lap belt from the sliding door side, can you tell me where to buy the 3 point seat belt from? I know Brickworks sell them but they have none in stock, and they are a bit pricey,
Can you get them else where and if so wear, ideally it would be the retractable one.
Any help would be great fully received, Thanks mike

Re: Rear 3 point seat belts
I suspect the Devon is a panel van conversion in which case it might be that you may need to do some modification anyway to get the Brickwerks kit to fit.

You might also be able get a similar seatbelt kit from JustKampers but I suspect it's unlikely to be much cheaper than the Brickwerks kit, and buying the various bits on the cheap from eBay etc may leave you with more issues such as belts that aren't long enough.
Just bite the bullet and drop an email to Brickwerks and get their advice in what will fit your van. You are only doing one side after all.

Re: Rear 3 point seat belts
I recently fitting a 3 point seat belt in a autosleeper (former panel van)
I used the brickwerks kit https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/b ... -left.html
As i have a panel van conversion I also needed the following mounts:
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/brickwerks ... per-mount/
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/b ... -left.html
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/seat-belt- ... floor.html or https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/b ... plate.html
I followed various guides including
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/rear-seat-belts
and http://wiki.club8090.co.uk/index.php/In ... oint_belts
It was a fairly simple task the hardest bits were drilling the hole for the upper mount and removing the old lapbelts. I think the brickwerks kit provides the neatest solution and the belt is long enough.
I now need to think about upgrading the seat as it it isn't very strong.
