engine bar mount point

Post by Ads1987 »

so not the best way to end a lovely weekend at a friends wedding, now 150 miles from home and the n/s engine mount chassis point has pulled away. Going to have to arrange some kind of recovery but hoping you guys could give an idea on the best fix, i.e. are there any repair sections for this area or does the garage just need to fabricate it?

I can't weld so unfortunately going to have to pay someone else to do it, picture shown below, thanks for looking !

Hard to see exactly (a wire brushing wouldn't hurt) but it looks like the studs have rusted away on the retaining plate (251199257) , which available from Brickwerks:

yeah I don't have any tools here so hard to say, there's certainly not a mount left and had no idea it existed so thanks for the heads up!
