Post by gollfy »

Hi
I having issues putting my windows back in after a respray. Van is a conversion so has the general seals with the seal that goes in between, I have purchased a tool to cope with that, just not having much look getting the main seal and window in:(

Anyone know the best way?

Hi, usual method is to put the seal around the hole, then work the glass into the seal from the outside and then fit the insert into the seal. This is definitely a two man job and i would recommend plenty of masking tape or cloth tape to protect your new paintwork. You may want to use a non-setting sealant like Arbomast between the seal and the body to help prevent leaks.

Hope this helps
