My recommendations would be a good AA or RAC plan and a toolbox

Hi & Welcome!
I can only offer my one year of knowledge of these vans, but if you have have a good look around on the wiki and use the search functions you usually can find most things, or if not, something similar which helps.
Buying a Haynes manual is a must, I bought a cheap American Vanagon one from eBay as I have a LHD it's been very usefull.
As for bodywork I'm currently stripping seams and general rust myself to keep the cost of the bodywork down a bit as I can't weld.
When that's all done I'm planning to go down the Rustoleum route paint wise as I can't justify 3k outlay on paint alone.

Re:blots and nuts for t25
Hi all,
So I haven't been here in a while but I just got my van returned from the paint shop.Electronic blue was the colour I choose. Now my pickle is I'm trying to fit alloys that I picked up at a car boot, blasted them and coated them in gun barrel grey.My question is since I have to buy new blogs for the front (wobble bolts) how long can they be to fit.I was looking at 40mm for the front. If the treaded bolts at the rear are to short to receive the alloys ,as they are on bolts at the rear, what lenght will be sufficient enough to take alloys at the rear.great full for your views and replys

For future reference. We have different sections, your wheel question should of been posted in the wheels&tyres section. What alloys do you have? as you may need longer studs/bolts and spacers.Post up a picture of them and any details stamped on them..
