gutter/ roof rusting how to repair?

Got an 1980 Air cool with rusting gutters. They have been sanded and repainted and resealed over the years with bits of filler in there. Its a Devon conversion with pop top. I am thinking of stripping back and trying to do a proper job, but a limited welder! Have seen a few gutter panels advertised has anyone used them and how do you actually fit.
do you grind off the old gutter, weld in any new metal to roof sides ( where roof and sides meet) and then weld on the gutter panels?

Any advise or experience of this would be great.

Also I have noticed around top of front windscreen roof bit is looking dodgy- more in the roof bit than the actual window surround. Any ideas /advise.
