Alternative seat question

Hi guys,

Potentially a bit of a newbie question.... Done a quick search but not found the specific information I'm after - hopefully somebody might know.

I'm fitting MGZR seats in the front of my bus - I intend to use the Rover subframe and I'm wondering if there is anything stopping me welding this to the floor of the cab or if the seats have to be removable and will need drilling and bolting in through the wheel arch?
