Carb linkage cable spring location?

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

Carb linkage cable spring location?

Post by Davegrohl99 »

Hi,

I have a 1981 2.0 CU westfalia. Doing a few checks on the engine bay and I feel like the spring for the carb linkage bar should be attached to the body. It isnt in mine and is attached to a bolt close by not providing much of a springing action.

I see nowhere at the back of the engine bay where I could attach it to? Maybe I'm just losing my mind in this madness!!ImageImage

There should be a bracket bolted to the fan housing.
