M8x16. Sometimes have to use a longer one to pull the tank back into posistion.

Yes the T25 is running alive with M8 threads. I guessed they would be M8.
I love M8's in particular. My general engineering projects gobble up M8 fixings - usually stainless steel. A whole range of sizes is readily available in fixings suppliers and they are cheap as chips. Obviously they are not as strong as tensile steel. I tend to avoid washers unless to protect soft materials as unless they are considerably larger in diameter they serve little load spreading purpose and encourage loosening and are just another thing to get dropped in the works. However'cold welding' (also known as seizing, galling or fretting) may occur so I avoid using stainless steel on areas like exhausts or engines where a stripped thread might be big trouble. One has to admit that the imperial thread forms were developed to meet specific needs - the cycle threads being a classic example. But the different pitches available in metric threads largely compensate for this.
